Our History

A brief history of the companies that today comprise the Aeternal Group.

Dr Michael Mumford, a former Combat Engineer in the Royal Australian Engineering Corps (RAE), investigates alternative therapies to aid in the deprescription of opiates, benzodiazepines and anti-depressant medications following the suicide of a patient referred to him.

Provocatus is incorporated with the vision of providing the highest quality and affordable medicines and pharmaceutical products to the Australian market.

Provocatus created its Veteran Access Scheme®, covering four pillars of care:

  1. Medication
  2. Appliances
  3. Clinical Wellness
  4. Health Education.

New Wollongong headquarters established with temperaturecontrolled warehouse and storage vault for Schedule 8 medicines.

DNH Medical, a fully licensed pharmaceutical wholesale distribution and storage solution, is launched.

Provocatus established an in-house clinical team in late 2023, including psychologist, registered nurse and medical administration support.

Provocatus begins its philanthropy program, with sponsorship of the Special Operations Engineering Regiment Association, with several more veteran-focused groups to follow.

Provocatus restructured into a group structure to reflect its growth in capabilities and to better coordinate its expanding range of services.

To manage continued growth, the Aeternal Group is launched as the strategic backbone of Provocatus, DNH Logistics and Starlight Technology Solutions.

DNH Medical is rebranded to DNH Logistics to better reflect its increased skillset in secure logistics.

Starlight Technology Solutions is formed as an entity to support Aeternal Group’s growing requirement for technology platforms and integration for customers.
