Unmanaged Risk in the Workplace

Veteran advocates play an important role of connecting ADF veterans with treatment for service-related mental and physical health issues. However, on average, female veterans are waiting over nine years to use their services and male veterans over 20 years*. This can have a negative impact on the performance of veteran-friendly organisations.

Our Thriving at Work program – a clinically led, face-to-face health session – is designed to directly mitigate the risk of employing veterans by addressing workplace productivity issues that can stem from poorly managed employee healthcare. The program also supports workforce growth by protecting the retention of existing hires.

This aligns directly with the 2026 National Defence Strategy’s own recognition that culture, mental health and wellbeing are inseparable from Defence workforce capability; a principle that applies equally once veterans move into Defence Industry employment.

If WHS obligations, duty of care, productivity and maintaining positive reputations are priorities of your business, Thriving at Work is a good fit.
